Campamento Coyote – Magdalena Bay, Baja California Sur

3 nights 4 days (Monday to Thursday) – 2 nights 3 days (Friday to Sunday). 350$ CAD per person per day 4 people min to run. Option to do a full week

A whale watching, sea kayaking and cultural adventure with real Baja locals.

Campamento Coyote is not a resort—it’s a true Baja experience. Our off-grid base camp sits in the heart of Magdalena Bay, surrounded by sand dunes, mangrove channels, and the migratory home of the gray whales. If you’re looking for authentic adventure, ocean life, and meaningful cultural connection—this is for you.

We are from here. We grew up in these waters, and our team is made up of lifelong local, fishermen, and paddlers from Puerto San Carlos. Every trip is guided by Eduardo Rivas and friends, locals who know the tides, winds, whales, and stories of this region like home—because it is home.

At Campamento Coyote, you’re not just another tourist—you’re a guest of the community. You’ll share campfire meals, boat rides, and stories with people who have lived by the sea for generations. We’ll explore by kayak, search for wildlife, hike coastal dunes, watch sunsets over the Pacific, and spend quiet mornings as whales surface just meters away.
