We went whale watching and rented kayaks through this place and they were very professional and well organised. This experience was the highlight of our trip to Baja! This was my dream for many years and sole reason to visit this place. We got lucky and our hotel owner recommended San Carlos kayaks. They are on point with communication via what’s up, answered all our questions right away and arranged our tour the very next morning. The tour itself was incredible!! It was just 2 of us on Monday morning and we had the whole experience just to ourselves. The captain let us have our time with whales - they approached our boat and let us pet them, then we were taken to see sea lions and were given tour around the bay. 100% would recommend to all of my friends and would come back for more next year!

Recomiendo 100% San Carlos Kayaks por los tours y para el hospedaje también. Nos quedamos ahí dos noches y nos encantó. Todo nuevo y muy limpio y mucha amabilidad . Hicimos dos tours de ballenas grises con el capitán Takon y fue’ todo perfecto. Muchas ballenas y un trato totalmente personalizado. Recomiendo pedir los tours privados.

I rented a kayak in order to get across the bay to the mangroves and dunes. Can’t speak highly enough of the owner, she’s really friendly, helpful and values safety throughout the experience. The kayak and all associated equipment was in great condition. I personally found it pretty tough owing to the currents in the bay, but this is only due to me being a bad kayaker! Bear in mind it’s at least an 8km paddle one way. However the mangroves are super tranquil, the bird life is fabulous and the dunes are spectacular!

J'ai loué un kayak à la journée et grâce aux conseils de Neyma, j'ai pu faire une belle excursion en solo. J'ai traversé la baie, me suis arrêté pour marcher sur les dunes et admirer un groupe de cétacés dans ke Pacifique. Je suis ensuite allé le long de la mangrove mais la marée descendait et il y avait vraiment peu d'eau ! Je suis rentré alors que le vent se levait et agitait la mer, mais rien de vraiment compliqué. Le matériel est de très bonne qualité et on vous prête tous les accessoires de sécurité. J'ai eu grand plaisir à discuter avec Neyma qui m'a expliqué l'histoire de la pêche dans la région. Best experience ever! Neima and Eduardo helped us make our dream kayak trip come true. From the very first interaction, they supported us and were available for every detail and question we had.
